I’m always looking for ways to take care of my skin and have it glow without spending a lot on expensive skincare. Since nature has blessed us with so many nutritious ingredients that are extremely beneficial for our health and skin.
You may have to experiment with what works best for your skin. Also, keeping in mind that what you put on your skin is just as important as what you put on it.
Swap moisturizer for Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has medicinal properties, the substance that’s obtained from the cells in the center of the plants leaves. Aloe Vera absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky film, heals dry skin, soothes sunburns, psoriasis and cold sores.
Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory and cooling properties which can help moisturize.
Pro-tip, you can mix a few pumps with Alba lotion and apply to your whole body. It’s lightweight and doesn’t clog pores or make your acne worse.
Oil Cleansing
When I first heard about this, I thought that’s so counterintuitive. I thought that using oil on my skin would clog my pores.
However, research is proving that there are several benefits of washing your face with oil and water. Oil cleansing can remove make up, dead skin cells, lifts oil and gets rid of whiteheads and blackheads.
It works on the basis that oil dissolves oil. The good oils work to dissolve the bad oils, Also, it’s the gentlest way to cleanse your skin.

Apple vinegar cider for Cystic Acne
Cystic Acne is so deep under the skin’s surface, making the area tender and painful. You can add one tablespoon of apple vinegar cider in cold water and drink it in the morning.
Apple vinegar cider is made with fermented apple juice that has antiviral, anti-fungal and anti-yeast benefits.
